Every car is scored inside its own model line and generation, never across models or brands. Pick a manufacturer to open its inventory, filter by equipment, and compare asking prices with similar cars.
Every car is scored inside its own model line and generation (for example “Q8 SUV e-tron · GE facelift”). A car is never compared with a different model.
For each group a least-squares fit explains ln(asking price) with the car's age, mileage, power, gearbox, drive, fuel and the value of its detected equipment. The fitted model gives the typical price of a car with exactly these attributes inside that model line and generation. The vs similar cars column shows the difference: how many euros the asking price is below or above that benchmark.
The ratio asking price ÷ typical price is ranked inside the group. A car that asks less than comparable cars gets a high value rank: the cheapest gets 100, the most expensive 0.
45 equipment keys (navigation, matrix LED, ACC, panorama roof, tow bar, …) are detected in the listing text and weighted in euros. The sum is ranked inside the group as well; the same euro value is also a feature of the price model.
Score = 0.7 × value rank + 0.3 × options rank — a ranking number inside the group, not a price and not comparable across model lines.
